Brooke came recommended to me by my physical therapist. That in itself is a ringing endorsement! I've been her faithful client for 1 ½ years and it is large part due to Brooke that I have had such a remarkable recovery from knee replacement surgery. I was able to strengthen the muscles around my knee to such an extent that I regained full range of motion in record time. I'm back doing Pilates 4 months after surgery. Brooke consults with my former physical therapist. She is extremely knowledgable and I trust her and know she is always taking great care with my individualized exercise program. It is my pleasure to write on behalf of Brooke Goodwin. 

Having significant, chronic back issues, I am in physical therapy often. Pilates is part of my therapy as it allows me to strengthen my core, while stabilizing my back.  

I tried several Pilates instructors in private sessions but unable to find anyone I was comfortable with. Hearing my plight, my physical therapist suggested I try Brooke. And with Brooke, I found someone that actually listened to me and my body and was truly conscious about developing a Pilates program that was specific to my needs. 
Brooke is a very sensitive person who takes initiative.  She contacted both my physical therapist and my out-of-state Pilates instructor to design and coordinate a program for me. 

During our sessions, Brooke is constantly making sure that I am comfortable, positively correcting my postures (good verbal/visualization cues) and adding exercises as she evaluates my condition. Brooke also listens to other symptoms that I might present and makes suggestions from her vast knowledge base as to what other exercises I might incorporate into my daily routine. 

Brooke is a lovely person to work with: non-judgmental, supportive and a genuinely nice soul. Her studio is neat and clean, as is her equipment. 

I highly recommend that if you are thinking of adding Pilates to your exercise routine, Brooke should become your instructor.

I have been taking mat classes with Brooke for about 6 months.  The classes have made such a difference in my day to day life.  Beyond gaining strength and flexibility, I have learned principles that help me everyday while doing other activities.  I don't have nearly the amount of back and neck pain that I used to have. Another added benefit I did not anticipate is the increase in range of motion for my shoulder after having had surgery about a year and ½ ago. I had taken Pilates classes before but never learned to proper way to do the exercises and missed out on the benefits. Brooke is amazing as she truly takes the time and interest in making sure we are doing the exercises properly so we gain the most benefit and avoid injury.  Thank you Brooke!

Coping with a loss of overall strength and dealing with previous neck and upper back issues, I decided to try Reforming Foundations Pilates & Wellness to see if anything could be done for me.  After meeting with Brooke Goodwin, owner of Reforming Foundations Pilates she ensured me that she could help me develop strength while protecting my neck and back.  Today after about 6 months of individualized training I can say I feel 80% stronger and more in tune with my own body.  Brooke took me in and made me feel like I was the only one she was helping with each appointment.  She is an individual who cares about my body and helping me to make it stronger by always adjusting my workout around my aches and pains.  I am so much more aware of how my own body moves and I am stronger than ever!
