Trainings are once a month, Fridays to Sundays 10am -6pm from September through May. On average you will need 10 hours a week to commit to be able to complete the program in time for testing in May.

Attend a Free ITT Teacher Training Info Night

Enjoy a free class on Tuesday April 9th at 7:30pm or Friday May 17 at 6pm with our owner Brooke and learn more about the ITT program. If you can’t attend an Info Night, reach out and we’ll meet for coffee!

Submit the ITT Pilates Application Form & Registration Form

Submit your application online and call to set up your 30-minute interview with Brooke. We will reach out to you as soon as we’ve approved your application. Once we’ve approved your application, complete the ITT Pilates Registration Form and include your payment to secure your spot in the program. Your spot is not reserved until you have completed this form and submitted payment. Register by July 15 for the $700 Early Bird Discount.

Complete the Pre-Training & Mat Trainings Fridays - Sundays 10am-6pm
(Sept 13-15, October 18-20, November 8-10, December 6-8)

Jean is traveling from San Francisco for trainings. Attendance at all trainings is required. Make-ups for trainings incur additional fees and must be scheduled in advance. Please prioritize attendance.

Complete Mat Self-Practice, Teaching Practice & Observation Hours  

Full access to our studio is included in the cost of the program. We encourage you to take classes at Reforming Foundations and are able to do so at 20% off. You may also complete self-practice and teaching practice hours at other locations. Observation hours must be completed at Reforming Foundations. All Mat hours should be completed by December 5. Written exam to be completed one week prior to practical exam. Mat Exam is December 6th.

Complete the Apparatus Trainings Fridays - Sundays 10am-6pm

(January 17-19, February 7-9, March 7-9, April 3-5, May 1-3)

Complete All Self-Practice, Teaching Practice, Observation & Apprentice Hours  

Full access to our studio is included in the cost of the program. You may complete self-practice and teaching practice hours at other locations. Observation and Apprentice Teaching hours (supervised teaching) must be completed at Reforming Foundations. All hours must be completed by May 1, 2020 to take the Comprehensive Exam on May 3rd.

Complete the Comprehensive Written & Apparatus Practical Exams (May 3rd)

Once you pass your exams, you’re ready to teach on all equipment in a variety of settings. We’re here to assist you in identifying the right Pilates employment opportunities for you. We hope you choose to Mentor with us!

Apply for our 3-Month Mentorship Program

We’re looking for great students to join the Reforming Foundations staff as Certified Instructors! Upon passing your exams you will qualify to be an Apprentice Pilates Instructor. We evaluate your teaching performance every month and provide daily assistance as we cross paths in the studio working together. Your paid apprenticeship will set you up to be an exceptional instructor and will best prepare you to sit for the PMA exam.

Sit for the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) Certification Exam

The PMA Pilates Certification Program offers the only 3rd party certification in the Pilates industry. Think of it as taking your industry “boards.” You can complete your continuing education through any PMA-approved CEC providers. Reforming Foundations will present in-house continuing education opportunities with internationally recognized educators to continue our growth as a community.
